There are many different
types of AK scope mounts available. One of the most
popular designs is the Leapers See-thru Weaver Base mount.
The mount is inexpensive and works well. The mount
attaches to the receiver just like a normal receiver cover
would, but it also features a weaver scope rail. The
mount also has two set screws on the back side of the cover
that help to set the mount in place and keep it steady.
The mount requires no gunsmithing to install and it is
easily removable should you decide to go back to iron
sights. The mount has a blued finish and is made in China.
